How to share a password securely

You are used to sharing some of your passwords via WhatsApp, Slack, or Discord, and you wonder whether it is a good idea to share them through these different communication channels?

I will answer without wasting time. The answer is no if you want to transfer a password securely, safe from potential theft. You no longer have full control once the message has been sent. Take Slack as an example: your conversations, even private ones, can be viewed by your Slack workspace administrators. With Secret Share, even if the conversation containing the link to your password is found, it can no longer be viewed.

It is therefore important to adopt certain habits when sharing passwords in order to maintain control; otherwise, it could lead to one of your passwords being leaked.
